I use bourbon or whiskey barrel staves to create these bottle openers. Each stave includes the metal band from the barrel to add a unique look. This adds a more authentic and natural look to the bottle opener.
The wood is oak - what American Bourbon barrels are made from. It is extremely durable and has a great feel and weight as a bottle opener.

I sand all sides and edges to create a comfortable handle while retaining the actual shape of the stave. All bottle openers are finished in a light protective finish.

Sizes are approximate - each stave is unique and slightly varies in size.

There will be a slight natural curve to it from the barrel.

Each piece is unique and some may include markings or various wear and tear marks. These will not impact the life or functionality of the bottle opener.
