This beautiful hardwood cutting board is crafted out of a multiple slabs of of black walnut, aged cherry, hickory and African mahogany hardwood. The board's solid wood edge and face grain construction ensures uniform thickness and an even cutting surface. What's more the wood fibers absorb impact of cutting blades, allowing knives to stay sharper and the board smoother. The bottom has rubber feet to prevent slipping on counter tops. This has beveled edges for a elegant look and easier to handle when picking up.

These board are handmade locally in Omaha, Nebraska. Sizes, shapes and patterns are determined by supply of hardwood. I work with local vendors - many of them small business owners who harvest trees and sell slabs of wood.

Each cutting board is finished with a food safe mineral oil and beeswax. It is ready to use as soon as you receive it. It is recommended you coat your cutting board with this mineral oil to rejuvenate it about once a month if it’s being used. This prevents the wood from drying out, cracking, splitting and reduces knife blade cuts.
