I made this beautiful Maple live-edge hardwood cutting board for those looking for a simple, natural, all in one solid piece cutting board. Crafted out of Maple hardwood with the live edge kept intact. The board's solid wood face grain construction ensures uniform thickness and an even cutting surface. What's more the wood fibers absorb impact of cutting blades, allowing knives to stay sharper and the board smoother. The bottom has rubber feet to prevent slipping on counter tops. This cutting board has groove handles on the underside for easier pickup.

Each cutting board is finished with a food safe mineral oil and beeswax. It is ready to use as soon as you receive it. It is recommended you coat your cutting board with this mineral oil to rejuvenate it about once a month if it’s being used. This prevents the wood from drying out, cracking, splitting and reduces knife blade cuts.

All cutting boards are handmade locally in Omaha, Nebraska. Sizes, shapes and patterns are determined by supply of hardwood. I work with local vendors - many of them small business owners who harvest trees and sell slabs of wood.
